Jenn Brook Wilde Utah wedding and elopement officiant
Sagittarius (Sun)  |  Leo (Rising)  |   Taurus (Moon)

Jenn is the heart and soul behind Wilde Heart Weddings, and she’s always had a wild streak. She craves adventure, especially in the desert, and brings a light, vibrant energy that people tend to notice right away. An introverted extrovert at heart, Jenn has a rare gift for connecting with just about anyone (someone once said she could make friends with a fence post… and she proudly takes that as a compliment).

She has a deep love for sappy love stories, thoughtful organization, spreadsheets, and storytelling, a combination that somehow works perfectly. As an ordained minister and wedding and elopement officiant based in Utah, Jenn’s superpower is guiding couples with clarity and care, making sure they feel seen, empowered, and genuinely excited about their ceremony. She believes your wedding day deserves more than a script — it should feel like you.

Some might call her a crazy cat lady... but don’t forget dog mom in that title. When she’s not officiating weddings or crafting ceremonies, Jenn can be found exploring dirt roads into the unknown, painting, and creating art.

At the heart of everything she does is her greatest joy: telling the epic love stories of couples from all walks of life; whether that unfolds among the red rock landscapes of Zion, the desert magic of Moab, or in a backyard filled with the people who matter most.

I can’t talk about how much I love sharing love stories without first sharing a little of my own.

My husband and I met more than two decades ago, and over the years we’ve grown through life side by side — building a family, navigating change, and choosing each other again and again. In 2020, on the Summer Solstice, we held a commitment ceremony of our own. It wasn’t about doing something “new,” but about setting intention for the years ahead and honoring the life we’ve built together.

That experience reaffirmed something I deeply believe: ceremony matters. Taking a moment to pause, reflect, and intentionally mark a transition has real power. It creates space for connection, meaning, and presence — something so many couples are searching for when they plan their wedding day.

Wilde Heart Weddings grew from that understanding and from my own spiritual path — a calling to create ceremonies that feel grounded, inclusive, and deeply personal. I believe your wedding deserves more than a script; it deserves heart, intention, and someone who truly cares about your story.

Today, I officiate weddings and elopements across Southern Utah, Zion National Park, and Northern Utah, creating ceremonies that feel intentional, personal, and deeply rooted in the moment.

Outside of weddings, my world is rooted in family, animals, and the simple moments that keep life feeling grounded and real. The people and experiences that shape my everyday life are the same things that influence how I show up for couples — with warmth, humor, and a deep appreciation for connection.

My husband Garrett and I share life with our two teenage kids, Tanner and Dylan, along with our beloved animals. Our two cats absolutely run the house, and our sweet pup keeps us company on everyday adventures. The photo here includes Marlee, one of our dogs who we said goodbye to in 2023 — a reminder of how deeply animals become part of our stories and our hearts.

Our home is rarely quiet, often a little chaotic, and always full of love — which honestly feels like the perfect reflection of real life.

When I’m not officiating ceremonies, you’ll usually find me enjoying stories in one form or another. I love movies that make you feel something — Crash, Across the Universe, The Invention of Lying, Death at a Funeral, Up, and Little Miss Sunshine are longtime favorites.

Reading is another way I recharge. I’m drawn to books that explore meaning and humanity, including The Alchemist, The Traveler Series, The Handmaid’s Tale, and anything by Thich Nhat Hanh. If you ever have a favorite recommendation, I’m always open to adding another book to my list.

Music, honestly, is everywhere in my life. My playlists are all over the map — from Chris LeDoux and Bob Dylan to Metallica and Ice Cube — because mood matters more than genre.

The life we’ve built together continually reminds me that love isn’t defined by a single moment, but by the choice to keep showing up for one another over time. Experiencing partnership in my own life shapes the way I approach every ceremony I create; With presence, care, and a deep respect for the story each couple is living. When I stand beside you on your wedding day, I’m not just guiding a ceremony; I’m holding space for a moment that truly matters.

What It’s Like to Work Together

Every ceremony I create begins with connection — getting to know who you are, what matters to you, and how you want your wedding day to feel.

From our first conversation through the moment you say your vows, my role is to guide the process with clarity, presence, and intention, so you can stay grounded in what this day is truly about: the two of you.
