​Short & Sweet - Online Ceremony

A short and sweet, basic ceremony that fulfills the legal requirements for the State of Utah for a marriage ceremony.  This is often an option chosen when couples are in different locations or just want something simple to cover the legal requirements, without all the fluff of a full ceremony.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

  • You can get a marriage license completely online (no lines, no appointments, from the safety of your own home) through Utah County. The marriage ceremony itself takes place virtually over a video chat platform/app. Please read through all of the information included here completely before booking!

MARRIAGE LICENSE

  • The couple is required to get their license before scheduling their ceremony.  You must obtain a Utah County Marriage license, this is done completely online.

LOCATION 

  • The couple and witnesses do not have to be in the same physical location to participate in the ceremony. As long as I am in the state of Utah, you will be legally married in the state of Utah.

 
CEREMONY 

  • The ceremony provided is a basic, 3-minute ceremony, with minimal customization, other than basic names, etc.,  it will include at a minimum, a short introduction, Declaration of Intent (I Do’s), and pronouncement. I share the ceremony in advance, so you can feel comfortable with it, and I will make minor adjustments to the ceremony if needed.

  • You do have the option to add ring exchange and vows if you would like, at no additional fee.

  • You may choose to write your own vows or pick from a selection that I have available. 

 
IDENTIFICATION

  • Identification must be provided, to verify age and identity for both applicants and both witnesses via the live video.  You will be asked to present it as the Zoom meeting starts and the ceremony proceeds.

WITNESSES

  • Must have a minimum of two, and they must be over the age of 18. -  If you do not have 2 witnesses, I can provide them to you for an additional fee of $40

 

MY FEE FOR THIS SERVICE

  • $100 for couples located within the United States  (Both couples reside in the United States)

  • $175 for International Weddings     

  • An additional $30 for Holidays, after-hours, or rushed services will be added to the base fee    

    • After Hours is considered anytime outside of my business hours

    • Mon-Fri 10:00 am - 4:00 pm  MST

 
LIMITATIONS

  • No more than 5 people in attendance. 

  • This ceremony must be booked and performed within 10 days from the time of inquiry and booking.​

  • Only online marriage licenses obtained through Utah County can be used for this service.    

  • This package DOES NOT include Apostille Service.
